A subsidiary of Hayley Group, Hayley Fluid Power has relocated to new premises having undergone expansion.

The firm, a specialist engineering products supplier, has recently taken on new employees and it 20 staff had outgrown its former premises.

It has relocated the short distance to a 14,400 sq ft unit on the Forge Trading Estate in Halesowen.

The new facility, which is complete with a trade counter, will provide the company with the flexibility for further expansion.

John W Jones, director at Hayley Fluid Power, said: “We have recently increased staff numbers which is why there was a necessity to move, and we definitely see a need for further recruitment once we have moved.

“Hayley Fluid Power have had meteoric growth supporting Hayley Group’s 44 branches, who are actively growing their business. Our mantra is ‘stock, service, people’, and adopting this approach has enabled our local branches to offer unparalleled levels of service.”

Hayley Fluid Power’s new premises will house offices, stores and hydraulic hose production facilities along with a quality control function and a pneumatic control panel build facility.

The expanding division is part of the £110m-turnover Hayley Group, distributing hydraulic and pneumatic components, as well as providing related products and services.

The relocation deal was arranged by Black Country commercial property agents Bulleys and means the Forge Trading Estate is now full.

Max Shelley, an associate at Bulleys, said: “We’re pleased to have found the right property for Hayley Fluid Power to relocate to, and the improved facilities are just right for the company’s ongoing growth.”
