Hayley Group Limited
UK's largest independent engineering inventory supplier
Hayley Group Limited are a Made in the Midlands Platinum Member
Made in the Midlands latest breakfast event was hosted by MIM Platinum members Hayley Group at their specialist engineering and industrial gearbox repair centre Hayley 247 in Dudley, West Midlands.
Hayley Group has grown to become the UK’s largest independent engineering inventory supplier. Their nationwide network of 40 branches, each carrying a minimum of £300,000 of stock, provides a combination of product supply and technical expertise 24/7/365. Their customers are a combination of MRO and OEM users so we have the ability to meet both unpredictable and often urgent demands, as well as more predictable scheduled demand.
Over 40 Made in the Midlands members attended Hayley’s premises which left them at full capacity. There were 60 second presentations from all of the attendees, before UK Electrical Drive Specialist, Chris Pails delivered an informative presentation regarding Hayley’s energy management services and quality. You can learn more about Hayley’s services and capabilities by visiting their microsite here.
Hayley Group Marketing Manager, Craig Bastable stated: “The event was very successful, I feel that the visitors got a lot out of the presentation from Chris Pails, as he opened up a lot of eyes to energy management and the cost savings that can be brought about by compressed air.”
Made in the Midlands have already listed five future breakfast events on our events page. Tickets are still available to attend O.L.D. Engineering, AW Precision, Torus Technology Group, Hexagon Metrology and Boneham and Turner. Craig offered his advice to these companies, as he explained: “I think to host you have to plan, keep it informal and present something interesting that people want to hear about. You should also give people a chance to network and promote their businesses, whilst making a port of call for businesses to talk to you.
Our breakfast events have consistently grown in popularity throughout the years due to the increase of Gold members within the group. These events provide attendees with a great opportunity to meet and network with local MD’s and decision-makers who represent the manufacturing community. Craig concluded: “I think cross fertilisation of business is huge. A lot of businesses aren’t big bold and brash, I think in some industrial parks, people don’t really know that other businesses exist there. There are great services locally that a lot of manufacturing businesses can tap into, as there are a lot of great people out there.”
